Ferd Grisanti's has been a
Louisville tradition for years. The warm personality of our
founder, Ferd Grisanti, was the hallmark of our restaurant
from the beginning in 1972 until his death in 1993.
His enthusiasm and pride for
the Grisanti family's personal touch in the restaurant,
makes this an even more special place. From Joan Grisanti's
paintings, to Jerome Grisanti's mural, and from Gemma
Grisanti Eberle's paintings to Ferd's own handmade cornice
work, literally every part of Ferd Grisanti Restaurant has
been a labor of love.
We at Ferd Grisanti strive
to present classical cooking derived from Renaissance Italy.
Our food offerings and dessert selection have been designed to
capture the mood of classic Italian dining. Our dishes
reflect the cuisine that emerged in Florence and surrounding
areas during the Renaissance.
We hope that you will enjoy
your experience of Italian cuisine at our restaurant, and
please feel free to comment
on our efforts. Buon Appetitio!
